How renting from us works
- Pre-qualify. Free, no credit check at this step, reply within 1 to 2 business days.
- Tour the home. If you meet the basic criteria, we set up a showing.
- Apply. Each adult completes a rental application and standard screening. We look for gross household income of about three times the rent; housing assistance and vouchers count as income.
- Sign and move in. Your lease includes the Maryland Tenants’ Bill of Rights.

Gross household income of about three times the monthly rent. For a $950 rent, that is about $2,850 a month before taxes. Housing assistance and vouchers count as income. If a voucher pays part of the rent, we measure your income against the part you pay.
Pets are considered case by case. A pet deposit or fee may apply. Assistance animals are handled under Fair Housing rules.
Yes, at every home we manage. Maryland law does not allow a landlord to turn someone away because of their source of income, and we welcome Housing Choice Vouchers and other rental assistance. Every applicant goes through the same screening.
It is listed on each home, and Maryland caps it at one month’s rent.
